Action Alerts
PROMO works tirelessly for equality across Missouri, but it is your voice that makes all the difference when it comes down to a vote. When PROMO needs you to speak up about a specific issue, an Action Alert will be issued. PROMO Action Alerts may ask you to sign a petition, email or call your elected officials, or write a letter to your editor or local paper. You can find active PROMO Action Alerts here, or make sure you're signed up through the PROMO Action Center to receive Action Alerts through email.

Team PROMO is a group of dedicated volunteers who help support the work of PROMO by volunteering their time and energy for equality across the state.

PROMO is Missouri's statewide organization advocating for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality through legislative action, electoral politics, grassroots organizing, and community education. We identify LGBT rights supporters, educate them on the issues, give them the tools and the confidence to participate in the political process, and get results. PROMO's goals are to help LGBT Missourians create a supportive and visible community, become active in the democratic process, and work for their equal protection under the law. We build community awareness and grassroots support for LGBT equality and increase civic participation of LGBT Missourians.
