In Saint Louis County, you can still be fired, denied housing, and denied access to public accommodations and services simply for your sexual orientation and gender identity. In order to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and ally citizens, Saint Louis County must add sexual orientation and gender identity to the current nondiscrimination ordinance in regards to employment, housing, and public accommodations.
