Jessica was an Alderwoman for Ward III of Centralia, Missouri from 2006-2010. She was the first out transgender woman to be elected as an Alderwoman in Missouri and even the country.

She was elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2008 and 2010. Jessica was the first out trans alder person in the United States. PROMO applauds Jessica for the work she did in Centralia during her time there as an alderwoman. For more information on Jessica, check out this article published on Jessica in the Vox in 2008.
