For more than two decades, PROMO has been working within Jefferson City to introduce the Missouri Nondiscrimination Act (MONA), a bill that would protect LGBTQ people from discrimination in employment, housing, and public services all across the state. With “MONA” turning 21 this year, this is the perfect time to throw MONA a birthday party and increase support for these critical protections!
All across the state, on the very same night (MARCH 21, 2019), friends, families, co-workers, and neighbors are coming together celebrating this great cause. When we celebrate and work together as a statewide community, we will win together as a statewide community. House Parties are private events. If there is not one in your area, we hope you will join us on Facebook at 6:30 and 7:30 pm.
The funds, visibility, and understanding that each Missourian raises this evening are crucial and will support vital efforts to make our state a more welcoming, safer place to live, work, play, and raise a family. During the evening, our Executive Director will address all House Parties simultaneously online at 6:30 and 7:30 pm unifying our collective energy as a statewide community. We are excited about celebrating MONA’s birthday together across our entire state!
