Sustaining our movement can feel endless. While we rise up in the enduring fight for our rights, we join the Black community in calling for the end to systemic racism that prevents us from all realizing full equality. In this extraordinary time, we honor the need for moments to pause and turn inward to appreciate our authenticity this month of LGBTQ Pride. Promo is bringing you ways to reflect, take space, and celebrate proudly.

Kristen Trudo (they/them) moved from California in 2015 and has been slinging shots of espresso and steaming milk for St. Louisans for over three years at Rise Coffee House. They started practicing yoga in the summer or 2018 and found a connection that had been missing – to themself, others, the universe. When they’re not on the mat or making coffee, they’re living out the Taurus and Enneagram 4 dream by eating a lot of good food, listening to the same playlists on repeat, writing in more notebooks than they can count, and periodically contemplating the vastness of the universe.
