For the second year, 4 Hands Brewing Co. announces their release of the City Wide Pride can promoting LGBTQ Pride Month in June. This year’s can includes the PROMO logo. Part of the proceeds will be donated to PROMO again this year.
Kevin Lemp, President of 4 Hands Brewing Co. added, “We are grateful to be partnering up with PROMO again this year in conjunction with our City Wide Pride cans. City Wide Pride was created to showcase our support; for it is every citizen in this community that makes St. Louis great!”
Every LGBTQ Pride Month more and more businesses are showing up to support the LGBTQ community. In particular this year, businesses are voicing their support for LGBTQ equality following the SCOTUS ruling in the Masterpiece case. The Court recognized the harm of discrimination and reaffirmed that states can act to protect LGBTQ people from discrimination and the value that when a business decides to open its doors to the public, that business should be open to all.
PROMO believes that Pride is a time to honor those who came before us and made it possible for us to be where we are today. It is a time to celebrate each other, recognize the value of each other’s worth, and be visible for those who cannot be because of fear of losing their jobs, homes, or families. It is a time to make a commitment to make the world a better place for those who come next.
