CCCUCC opens its doors to everyone whatever their gender, economic class, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity or difference in ability. Because of Christianity’s historic and ongoing oppression of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people (LGBTQ), we decided over 20 years ago to publicly declare our support for LGBTQ rights. We are “open” to LGBTQ people and we “affirm” them as made by God. Today our church is made up of roughly half heterosexual people and half LGBTQ people.
