Report LGBTQ Discrimination

Have you been discriminated at work, asked to leave a public accommodation, or denied housing because you are LGBTQ?

Take the following steps.

1. Report discrimination to PROMO:

Sharing your story and reporting discrimination is an important part of making sure that your voice is being heard. Any and all information submitted through this form will remain confidential unless explicit consent is given to file a formal complaint or share your story in another way.

A member of the PROMO staff will be in contact with you through e-mail or phone once we have reviewed your information with suggestions on moving forward, resources, or questions.

2. File a civil rights claim

Have you been discriminated against because you are LGBTQ and reside in one of these areas? Click on the cities below to file a complaint directly with the city.

Several other municipalities in Missouri have protections for LGBTQ people as well. If you have faced discrimination in employment, housing, or public accommodations in these other cities or counties, contact us directly, and we can help you navigate the next steps.
