LGBT older adults are a resilient population despite many experiencing a lifetime of discrimination and stigma.

Currently there are an estimated 2.7 million older LGBT adults across the US. With the population predicted to more than double over the next twenty years couples with older LGBT adults more likely to age alone with poorer health, Missourians Aging with Pride (MAP) strives to end the invisibility of aging members of the LGBT+ community.

Missourians Aging with Pride strives to enhance the quality of life of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender older adults through advocacy and community awareness.
