The Missouri School of Journalism’s Queer Media Association hosts speakers, professional development events and social activities for aspiring LGBTQ journalists and allies. In the past, we’ve hosted a People magazine journalist to discuss trans coverage in the news media; have hosted a screening of an LGBTQ film during the annual True/False Film Festival; and have brought in a New York Times best-selling author to discuss writing tips.
