URBANAIRE 2023: Love, Revolution

Saturday, September 30 | VIP Reception @ 6 p.m. | Gala Celebration @ 8 p.m.

After FOUR years away, a beloved party in Missouri and St. Louis’ largest LGBTQ+ fundraiser is back. Taking place on Saturday, September 30, the event celebrates LGBTQ+ joy and love, queer visibility, trans liberation, and a growing LGBTQ+ community. It recognizes past successes while preparing us for the road ahead to full equality and liberation. URBANAIRE brings together more than 500 LGBTQ+ supporters, politicians, community and business leaders, and Missourians from all backgrounds centered around one shared vision:

“Missouri is a state in which LGBTQ+ people — every demographic, race, ethnicity, zip code, and experience — are valued and thriving.”

Event Details

URBANAIRE takes place on Saturday, September 30 at the Cortex Innovation Community from 6-11 p.m. The event is split into two parts: a VIP Reception and the Gala Celebration.

The VIP Reception goes from 6-8 p.m. where ticket holders can enjoy food from 20 different restaurants from across St. Louis, an open bar, a silent auction, and the “State of Missouri LGBTQ+ Equality” address from PROMO Missouri’s Executive Director, Katy Erker-Lynch. Guests will also enjoy music from KG Lang, a fan favorite in the St. Louis live music scene who plays original folk fusion tunes plus an eclectic mix of hit songs from Melissa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman, Brandi Carlile, and other stars of the womxn’s folk-rock genre, including their quasi-namesake, k.d. lang. These tickets also grant access to the Gala Celebration.

The Gala Celebration begins at 8 p.m. with a selection of food trucks, an open bar, a curated outdoor shopping experience, and DJ Jillian spinning music the entire evening. Brief remarks from sponsors and keynote individuals will also take place.

Theme: “Love, Revolution”

This year’s theme is “Love, Revolution” as we channel the emotions of revolution from the 60s and 70s and across the movements that came before us. There is a color palette you’re welcome to wear or draw inspiration from that we are calling “Righteous.” Regardless, come dressed in what makes you feel your most authentic self.
